Fractional CO2 laser represents the very best in laser skin's resurfacing. It delivers powerful results without the harsh side effects that typically comes with other procedures. Patients experience less downtime, less discomfort and rapid results!

CO2 laser resurfacing uses pulses of laser light that penetrate the skin's surface where water in the skin cells absorb them. When this happens, the epidermis (superficial layer) is vaporized, the dermis (middle layer) heats up, stimulating the growth of new collagen fibers. As the area heals, new, firmer and smoother skin replaces the old layers. 

The procedure requires topical anesthesia applied on areas to be treated for 30 to 45 minutes prior to the CO2 laser. It involves some pain depending on the depth/ extent of resurfacing and patient's pain tolerance. During the treatment, the dermatologist moves the laser wand slowly over the skin. Ice roller is applied post-procedure to prevent swelling. Itching or stinging sensation may be felt 12 to 72 hours after procedure. 5 to 7 days after laser resurfacing, your skin becomes dry and peel off. Lighter skin is noticeable after treatment. Use of sunscreen is very important post- procedure.

The number of treatments depend on the extent of skin problem, scarring or wrinkles. Not only it reduces the appearance of wrinkles , it also encourages collagen production which improves the overall health of the skin over time. These are the skin problems that can be treated with CO2 laser: aging skin, acne scars, large pores, skin resurfacing, sun damage, fine lines, syringoma, sebaceous hyperplasia, birthmark and early stage of skin cancer or pre-cancerous skin lesions.

Thermal RF - It produces 4MHz of RF energy that generates heat deep beneath the skin at an optimal temperature for collagen regeneration, fiber shrinkage and fat and wrinkle or fine lines reduction. The thermal handpiece consists of a shot tip and a rubbing tip to deliver optimal energy at an appropriate depth.

2. Multipolar RF - It produces 1MHz of energy passing through multiple positive and negative electrodes. This form of RF current flow results in a well-defined heating of treated area which induces cell remodelling resulting to the lifting, firming and toning effect.

3. Ultrasound Cavitation - It produces 34KHz of ultrasonic waves which create cavitation effect that bursts and eliminates fat cells in a similar way as HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound).
